Biography

Maarten Schmidt founded his production company Storyhouse in 2013 and focuses on youth content, bold investigative documentaries and true story fiction. His productions were awarded at festivals such as Tribeca and Hotdocs, his recent successes include Breathless and Yaren and the Sun. Maarten is now seeking financing for a new youth animation series by Mariana Cadenas and two feature length documentaries by Quentin Noirfalisse, Friedrich Moser and Guido Verelst as well as a developed script for a teen fiction film by writer Johan Vandevelde.
