Promoting some of the best upcoming European acting talent worldwide would not be possible without the support of numerous partners. European Film Promotion (°efp) would like to thank all of them.
Once again, EFP is offering ten selected up-and-coming talents an intensive, tailor-made programme to meet journalists, casting directors, producers and filmmakers during the Berlin International Film Festival (17 – 20 February). It provides a unique opportunity to build the professional network the talents need to launch their international careers, and at the end all 10 receive the EUROPEAN SHOOTING STARS AWARD in a glamorous awards ceremony at the Berlinale Palast.
All this would not be possible without the generous and precious support of the dedicated partners of the programme:
Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union
Ever since the start of the EUROPEAN SHOOTING STARS programme, the MEDIA sub-programme dedicated to financial support in the development, distribution and promotion of European films and its audiovisual industries has been a crucial partner in making EFP’s flagship initiative happen. Thanks to MEDIA’s unwavering commitment, the programme has evolved into a significant industry event that brings together talent, casting directors, filmmakers and producers.
Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and German Films
The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, which provides national funding for arts and culture in Germany, and German Films, have been essential partners in developing EUROPEAN SHOOTING STARS and its Actors Industry Network over the years.
Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg
Two of the most influential German regional film funding organisations have been trusted and passionate supporters of the programme from the start. In addition to their important financial commitment, both institutions present the European Shooting Stars at their receptions giving their promotion an additional boost.
The internationally renowned casting platform for theatre, television and film is partnering with EUROPEAN SHOOTING STARS for the fourth time since 2020, with a focus on Actors Industry Network event. On top of its extensive online database Spotlight also has studios in London along with a team of experts across Europe.
MAIN MEDIA PARTNER

The International Casting Directors Association has played a crucial role in building up the Actors Industry Network. The ICDA is a professional Association and a proud partner of the EFP's AIN events, counting 116 members from 34 countries from all around the world. ICDA members are casting directors all working internationally, who have an organic and sustainable interest in meeting the European Shooting Stars and consider them for their future castings. Around 40 ICDA members will attend this year's Shooting Stars events.
PARTICIPATING NATIONAL FILM PROMOTION INSTITUTES AND FILM CENTRES
