What does the sales agent do once a film is invited to an international film festival? What is the present-day promotional strategy for a film? Who do the sales agents prioritize, target and reach out to with their strategy – buyers, press, festival programmers? Who are the vital partners – publicists, PR agencies, national promotion institutes, agents? What is the role of the producer? How do the director and cast come into play in terms of promotion?
Tine Klint (LevelK) and Hédi Zardi (Luxbox) discuss and share experiences, describing and explaining strategies based on their international work in promotion and marketing. They will also touch on the future outlook.
