PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE Networking with Latin American Colleagues in San Sebastian

Following the call of EFP (European Film Promotion) the San Sebastian International Film Festival has selected and invited eight PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE to share their expertise and foster future co-productions at the 7th Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum (September 23 – 26). First time participant Ankica Juric Tilic ("Quit Staring at My Plate", Croatian Oscar entry 2016) is especially keen on meeting with filmmakers and scriptwriters from Latin America in order to expand her already well spread European network: "In our field of work, the personal contact is crucial and markets are developed on that basic need of ours. There is no doubt that filmmaking is based on hard work and high responsibility, but it is also a complex net woven from emotions, relationships, trust, passion, reliability and other delicate threads. No wonder we trust the personal contact so much. So I cherish the possibility of face to face meetings and the creative input the Forum provides."
