Making full use of the sound expertise of EFP PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE (POM) – the longstanding EFP programme that presents 20 up-and-coming European producers in Cannes every year – the San Sebastian International Film Festival has invited former participants to the festival's 6th Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum (September 24 - 27). Following the call of EFP ten European producers with special ties to Latin America were selected and will join the Forum. Like Hélène Cases, whose international co-production THE JOURNEY, which was initiated at the PRODUCERS LAB HAMBURG in 2014, is selected for this year's edition of TIFF. Her company Lionceau Films has made good experiences executive producing the French part of EL HOMBRE DE LAS MIL CARAS in 2016 and the producer – fluent in Spanish – shows a great affinity to Latin-American cinema and cherishes the possibility of first-hand meetings at the festival: "Our experience taught us that a good co-production experience is based on a human relationship of confidence and sharing. A forum like in San Sebastian is a perfect opportunity to meet producers and directors. Directly. Because success in a cinema project is firstly a human experience for us."
