The North Macedonia Film Agency is established under the Film Industry Law (Official Gazette of Republic of North Macedonia No.82/2013) and officially began its operation on 01.01.2014 as a legal successor of the Macedonian Film Fund.

Aims and goals

• Annual financial support of national production, International co-productions and National film festivals and other projects for improving the film industry;
• Continuous support of script development;
• Support of young film professionals for participation in international film workshops, training programs, summer schools...;
• Organizing international events for connecting film professionals towards film co – production, distribution, promotion, sales...;
• Continuous support of script development;
• International promotion of national cinematography at renowned international film festivals and events;
• Promoting Republic of North Macedonia as an attractive filming location with favorable conditions.
