Summary

Since 1952, numerous films, documentaries and reports have been made about Mikova, a small village of 150 inhabitants in Eastern Slovakia, from which the family of Andy Warhol immigrated to the USA. This film concentrates on his extended family members who still live there. It also explores the interest of the media in this village and reflects the magnitude of the famous - the ones who film and are filmed - in the spirit of Warhol's legendary quote about "15 minutes of fame". The film is mainly about the dreams and hopes of people who live there, about dreams of a better life, and about "the American dream", which usually ends quite differently than expected.
