Lubo

Summary

Switzerland: in the winter of 1939 , Lubo a young Jenisch (nomadic ethnicity) is to do military service in the Swiss rmy to defend the border. His cousin joins him and tells him that the gendarmers took his children and hiswife was killed in the scuffle. They took them away from their parents because they are children of wanderers , gypsies, following the national Kinder re-education program der Landstrasse, an organization governed by the principles of the eugenics that was rampant in Europe over the 30’s. Lubo’s revenge will have unexpected implications, forcing us to rethink the blurred boundaries between good end evil.
