Regained Memory

Summary

When memories that are fading too fast and responsibilities that are difficult to take on if you don't have a clear head; following one's heart isn't enough. These are problems that weigh down upon Amir, who has recently become a widower. The moment he realises he can't remember what his late wife looked like is a turning point that induces him to start delving into the past, to a time when he was still a child. Stijn Bouma's thoughtful film reminds us how important it is to accept our own past so that we can fully appreciate the present.
