Summary

John O''Brien, a fisherman from the small island of Bo Finne in Ireland unwittingly found himself embarking on a lifetime crusade when he initiated, with the help of an insular group of international experts and NGOs, a European campaign to regain his ancestral right to fish. Filmed over 8 years, this film tells a modern day "David v Goliath" tale of one man''s struggle to try and change the system that took everything from him, to try to understand and influence the new reform of the Common Fisheries in Brussels. This is the story of a man, the story of a community, a country and all of Europe.
