Summary

A man dies of a heart attack while his oblivious wife noisily prepares dinner; a dying woman clings to her money and jewels; a ferry passenger collapses after paying for his lunch. Death, like life, is often absurd. Reminiscent of a modern Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, Sam and Jonathan, two travelling salesmen peddling novelty items, take us through a series of surreal, kaleidoscopic vignettes. A trip that shows us the beauty of single moments, the pettiness of others, the humor and tragedy that is in us, life's grandeur as well as the humanity's frailty.
