Biography

Slovakian born Bednáriková studied at a bilingual school in the Slovakian village of Sučany and afterwards pursued her film-directing studies at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.During this time she has written and directed several short films, including Boredom (2022) which was screened at several festivals including the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival. Her latest film Liquid Bread (2022) premiered in the La Cinef competition at the 2022 edition of the Cannes Festival. Bednáriková also writes poetry and short stories.
