Biography

Director and writer German Golub was born to an Estonian / Russian family in Estonia in 1993. He studied directing at the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School in Estonia. Throughout his time there he directed multiple shorts and documentary films, including one in China. These include such films as -44%, (2020) and Black and White Colours (2019).His 2020 short film My Dear Corpses (Mu kallid laibad) won a Student Academy Award (Gold Medal).
