Biography

While working as a social worker in Brussels, Hyun Lories graduated cum laude at the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound in Belgium. His short Behind The Walls (2016) was awarded the Next Generation Audience Award at Brussels Short Film Festival.Versailles (2020) premiered at International Film Festival Gent, receiving the ACE Image Factory & The Fridge Audience Award, as well as a Wildcard for Best Short by the Flemish Audiovisual Fund at the International Kortfilm Festival Leuven.
