Biography

Jakub Radej is a director and screenwriter of short fiction, documentary and music films. He graduated from directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia and from the DOK.PRO at the Wajda School. His last short film SWEET HOME CZYZEWO (2017) won the special prize at Gdynia Film Festival in 2017. His documentary PROCH (2017) has been rewarded multiple times (e. g. Jihlava, Moscow, Clermont-Ferrand, Cracow and Bratislava). He worked as assistant director for Wojciech Smarzowski and Maciej Żak and on sets for commercials.
