Producers on the Move 2008

Background Silje Eik runs the production company, Cinenord, together with co-owner Tanya Badendyck, both educated at the Norwegian Film School. In Cinenord's seventh year, the producers are in production with their 11th feature film, a family film called "Karsten and Petra" based on very well-known Norwegian children's books. Cinenord is also producing a 13 episodes long TV series, "Karsten and Petra", for NRK. Last year, Cinenord had great success with the family film "Jørgen + Anne", a love story for kids. Eik and Badendyck have also just completed 6 feature films of "Varg Veum", a quality brand of Scandinavian crime thrillers.
