Producers on the Move 2008

Background Louise Vesth graduated with a B.A. in Business Economics from Aarhus School of Business in 1995 and then worked at Jutlandia Film until 1997 before being accepted at the Danish Film School in Copenhagen. Since graduation from film school in 2001, she has been working at the Danish production company Zentropa and shown her versatility as a producer in a wide range of genres - from the very popular Danish sitcom "Klovn", based around the apparently everyday lives of the two Danish comedians Frank Hvam and Casper Christensen, through the experimental drama LIFE HITS by Christian Christiansen to Anders Ronnow Klarlund's 2006 feature HOW TO GET RID OF THE OTHERS. Louise's "eye-for-quality" is easily reflected in her work, most recently in Christian Christiansen's short film AT NIGHT which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2008. She is currently developing an extended feature film version of AT NIGHT, a sixth season of the extremely popular sitcom "Klovn", and in production with THE SECRET SOCIETY OF FINE ARTS, an experimental project created by director Anders Klarlund, which will use still pictures and make music and dialogue the controlling factors.
