EFP - European Film Promotion

Partners and supporters

EFP's events are jointly financed by its 30 member organisations and the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.

The office in Hamburg, Germany, receives support from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the Department for Culture, Sports and the Media of the City of Hamburg.

EFP receives financial support by the CNCIA (Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animée), for general promotion and pr activities.

EFP's financial partner is Commerzbank.

Additionally, Film Sales Support 2010, EFP's funding system for European sales agents, is financially supported by the UK Film Council, the Nordisk Film- & TV Fond and by Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA).

EFP works with private sponsors in the framework of its international projects.

Main partner of the SHOOTING STARS Programme is Studio Babelsberg, co-partner is TESiRO.

MEDIA Programme

MEDIA is the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry.

MEDIA co-finances training initiatives for audiovisual industry professionals, the development of production projects (feature films, television drama, documentaries, animation and new media), as well as the promotion of European audiovisual works.

MEDIA International

The preparatory action MEDIA International aims to explore ways of reinforcing cooperation between European and third-country professionals from the audiovisual industry on a basis of mutual benefit. It also aims to encourage a two-way flow of cinematographic/audiovisual works.
