With its spotlight on ten directors from across Europe, European Film Promotion has joined forces again with Variety and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festivalfrom June 30 to July 1 to showcase the creative energy of film-making in Europe. The directors have presented their films to enthusiastic festival audiences from the Czech Republic and have also been introduced to the press and key people from internatio the film industry.

This very popular sidebar with its fresh and exceptional film selection attracts a large number of predominantly young people from the Czech Republic and the neighbouring countries each year. The directors and their films were chosen by critics from the international trade magazine Variety. The MEDIA Programme of the EU and ten participating EFP member organisations are supporting the event.
