Film Sales Support - Upcoming Deadlines
for the Remainder of 2009

Film Sales Support (FSS), European Film Promotion's tool for the promotion and marketing of European films at international film festivals and markets, offers support for further two film festivals and two markets this year. European sales agents (or producers if no sales company handles the film) may apply for the support to EFP at the below listed deadlines. The market support - which is a novelty this year - is available for sales agents only.

In addition to FSS, EFP will again be offering extensive office space to European sales agents at the Asian Film Market in Pusan free of charge. Companies interested to be part of this umbrella office, designed for business meetings, must register with the Asian Film Market in Pusan beforehand.

FSS supports up to 50% of costs for promotional and marketing campaigns to help sell European films outside of Europe. FSS is part of European Film Promotion's (EFP) international work and is mainly funded by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.

In the first half of the year, FFS supported films at the international film festivals of Sundance, Guadalajara, Shanghai and at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART).
