Experienced in all departments of filmmaking, Theron Patterson worked in many short film and video projects. Not confined to a written screenplay, and following a course with improvised performances, the film employs black humour to psychologically explore the relation between love and the fear of death, and the thin border between beauty and the lack of it. Following his wife's death, Adnan lives alone with his son, Burak, who seeks to find the warm family feeling with his uncle Can and his wife Deniz. Concerned with Burak's future, Can and Deniz strive to have Adnan reconnect to the demands of everyday life.
