Summary

Working as assistant director in feature films and directing commercials, this is Ilksen Basarir's directorial debut. With a poetic narrative, the film tells the love story between Onur, a hearing-impaired young man, and Zeynep, a young woman who works at a call centre. Love overcomes all obstacles, but still, this love affair will be a challenge for Onur and Zeynep, both questioning themselves and life itself. Love In Another Language was the first feature film ever to have been screened with Turkish subtitles for the hearing-impaired.
