At the World Psychics Contest, Helga, a psychic, senses the presence of a killer, but soon is murdered. Mark, who saw a suspicious looking man in a trench coat at the time, suspects something is missing from Helga's apartment but isn't sure. Despite his friend Carlos' warnings, Mark starts investigating with Gianna, a reporter. He finds a clue that the murderer plays children's songs while killing his victims.
The title alone hints at Argento's world and master handiwork. Goblin made the main theme song for the film. The rock music creates a unique accord with the murder sequences.
