Summary

THE MISFORTUNATES tells the story of Gunther Strobbe who lives together with his father Celle and his three uncles (Breejen, Koen and Wieken) in the house of his Grandma. Gunther is confronted daily with the completely useless existence of this male family: alcohol, puke and the inevitable sluts of his father and uncles. Bit by bit he is being prepared to become a useless man, just like his family members. Will Gunther be able to escape the alasness of things?
