Trond Espen Seim

Trond Espen Seim completed theatre school in 1996 and worked at the Rogaland Theatre and the National Scene before coming to the National Theatre in 2001. In 1998 he debuted in Karin Julsrud's feature film BLOODY ANGELS, followed in 2002 by the role of the dashing First Lieutenant in Ole Bornedal's I AM DINA. In 2000 he was awarded the Hedda Prize for "Outstanding Accomplishment". During spring 2004 he played the lead in Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's popular TV-series "Black Money - White Lies", and performed in "Peer Gynt" at the Torshov Theatre in Oslo, where he walso held the position of Artistic Director. In Erik Poppe's HAWAII, OSLO, Norway's nomination for the Academy Award - Best Foreign Language Film 2004, he plays the angel-like character of Vidar. Recently Trond worked on a series of six films about a Private Investigator, Varg Veum, with direcors like Ulrik Imtiaz Rolfsen (IZZAT, and Morten Tyldum (FALLEN ANGELS).
