Producers on the Move
at the Cannes International Film Festival

EFP's mandate to focus attention on young European talent helped in creating a unique producer's spotlight for the first time in 2000, when it initiated PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE at the Cannes International Film Festival and Market. Since then, a total of 219 of Europe's most talented young producers were selected to be introduced to the industry at large during this important international event.

Event activities
- Press campaign including producer profiles and advertisements in the major dailies
- Producers Lunch for about 160 European producers
- Round-table meeting / pitching session for all selected producers
- Production of a catalogue, poster and on-line presentation of participating producers
EFP's activities are financially supported by the MEDIA Programm of the EU and the member organisations of EFP. In addition, PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE is supported by Eurimages, The Hollywood Reporter, arvato digital services, and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. Financial partner is Commerzbank.
