Shooting Stars 2008 opens at the Berlin International Film Festival

Nine of the best young actors in Europe have touched down in Berlin today, as the eleventh edition of SHOOTING STARS launches at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Chosen for the first time by a high profile jury of industry figures, the SHOOTING STARS are in for a whirlwind weekend – kicking off with a photoshoot by renowned photographer Jim Rakete, attending a pitching session with casting directors on Sunday and appearing in an international press conference on Monday, February 11th, at the Kaisersaal/Sony Center. The event Monday evening culminates in the glittering STUDIO HAMBURG SHOOTING STARS AWARDS ceremony on the main stage at the Berlinale Palast, followed by a party in honour of the Shooting Stars.

The photocall and press conference will take place from 11am on Monday 11th February, at the Kaisersaal/Sony Center; where the SHOOTING STARS of 2008 will be introduced to the world’s media.
